NEWSLETTER - 17th JANUARY 2025
Congratulations to all our students who are getting their university offers come through, you now have a real focus on what is needed for the Summer. Three students so far have received Oxbridge offers, our thoughts are with all those students still nervously waiting to hear back from universities. Staying with the Sixth Form, Year 12 had a celebration breakfast this week for all the students who have started their post-16 studies very well, whether that be doing well in the classroom, participating in community events, or helping others in school.
The final rehearsals are underway for the school production which takes place in the next three weeks. There are lots of comings and goings and much singing being heard wafting down the corridors after school most nights, I am very much looking forward to seeing the production. Tickets can be purchased via the link HERE.
Shortly after the February half term, we will be holding a talk in school regarding the impact of mobile phones on young people and how schools and parents can work together to help keep young people safe and give them the skills needed to navigate, and use, the powerful piece of kit that a mobile phone is. Please look out for dates.
Thank you to all the staff who helped with the War Horse theatre trip this week.
