School Colours are the public recognition of exemplary students who show a consistent commitment to extra-curricular activities.
HALF COLOURS
Awarded to Year 9 students who throughout Key Stage 3 exhibit exceptional qualities:
COMMUNITY*
- Show sustained support of a local community group
or - Show sustained support of a Charters extra-curricular activity
DRAMA
- Show sustained excellence and or effort in lessons
- Are committed to Drama extra-curricular activities
- Have been involved in school Drama productions, or school events
MUSIC
- Show sustained excellence and or effort in lessons
- Are committed to Music extra-curricular activities
- Have been involved in school concerts, productions, or school events
SPORT
- Show sustained excellence and or effort in lessons
- Regularly attend a Winter extra-curricular activity
- Regularly attend a Summer extra-curricular activity
- Show sustained commitment to more than one team or sport
FULL COLOURS
Awarded to Year 11 and 12 students who throughout Key Stage 4/5 exhibit exceptional qualities:
COMMUNITY*
- Show sustained support of a local community group
or - Show sustained support of a Charters extra-curricular activity

- Show sustained excellence and or effort in lessons
- Are committed to Drama extra-curricular activities
- Have been involved in school Drama productions, or school events
- Provide wider support of the Drama department at enrichment or whole school events
MUSIC
- Show sustained excellence and or effort in lessons
- Are committed to Music extra-curricular activities
- Have been involved in school concerts, productions, or school events
- Provide wider support of the Music department at enrichment or whole school events
SPORT
- Show sustained excellence and or effort in lessons
- Regularly attend a Winter extra-curricular activity
