You may have seen our posts over the last few weeks about the importance of regularly attending school.  This week our campaign's impetus highlights the correlation between regular attendance and achieving better grades in examinations.

At Charters School, students with more than 95% attendance achieve on average, 1-2 grades higher in GCSEs than those below 90%.

To attend our Sixth Form, students need to have a minimum of five GCSEs including at least one English and Maths (grades 9-4) although certain subjects require specific grades as well.

These high-achieving students are truly living their best lives as they study the A Levels they are passionate about in our outstanding Sixth Form. Their success didn’t happen by chance – it’s the result of the hard work, dedication and their consistent attendance during their GCSE years.

Regular attendance isn’t just about being present in class; it’s about building a strong foundation for future opportunities. These students have the chance to explore the subjects they love, pursue their dreams, and surround themselves with great friends along the way.

Attendance really does matter – it opens doors to more choices and endless possibilities!
