HIGHLIGHTS
Although we have had not had the last night of the school production, Private Peaceful, it has been a great success. On Monday we held a matinee performance for two of our local primary schools. The doors opened to the public on Wednesday, Thursday and this evening (Friday 25 November). The student and staff have put on a wonderful performance that conveys the emotion of a very powerful story around being a conscientious objector in World War One.
We have also had the sounds of steel drums waft across the school this week, as Year 9 students have been taking part in drumming workshops. If only the drumming brought the weather too! It was lovely to see and hear the students experience the glorious sounds of the drums.
Thank you to Domino’s who have agreed to sponsor a weekly award of a pizza for a student in school. The student will receive a voucher to have an individual pizza for free from the Sunningdale Dominos ‘Dominos Pizza Reward’ will start soon.

NOTICES
As the days grow colder and the shops become increasingly more festive, we are launching our Department Wish Lists!
Each department has put together a range of items that would help to enhance the curriculum and bring the syllabus alive for their students.
Last year, the generosity of our wider community raised £3491 to enhance the resources within departments.
We appreciate that the cost of living is rising for everyone and more than ever we are grateful for every 'Wish' that you grant.
A complete list of ‘Wishes’ can be viewed here. Thank you and merry Christmas.
As the festive season approaches and you begin to wonder what gifts to send to aunties and uncles, don’t forget that photos make great presents.
After the school photographer visited in September each student was given a unique QR code so that parents/carers could view and purchase the images should they choose to.
If the QR code for your child did not make the journey home, please contact the Stanley Baker Studios’ customer support team who will be able to assist you:

On Tuesday 6 December, the Winter Concert which is sponsored by GIlbert Homes, will take place in the Main Hall from 7.00pm. Students have been rehearsing since September to provide an exciting programme! Tickets to the concert can be found on ParentPay at £4.00, and will also be available on the door.
Everyone is welcome and our students will greatly appreciate your support!
Student Services will be holding a Lost Property table next Tuesday 29th November and Wednesday 30th November. It will be available under the shelters outside of M6 at second break each day. Please remind your children to come and have a look as we have had many items handed to us during the last term, and any uncollected items will be need to be disposed of. Thank you.
There is a new FOOD BANK launching in Sunningdale and we would like to share the information with our wider Charters School community.
SHARE Food Bank is partnering with Hope Church, Sunningdale and will stock a range of fresh produce and bakery items that are end of day or surplus stock. All foods will be donated from local supermarkets which Hope Church will then SHARE with the local community. This is food that the supermarkets cannot sell and would otherwise go to waste!
No voucher/referral is needed to attend the food bank and ANYONE can collect a bag of food and also enjoy a tea/coffee and slice of cake.
The food bank will operate in the run up to Christmas, on the following Tuesdays from 12.00 - 1.00 at Hope Church Sunningdale, The Hope Centre, High Street, Sunningdale, SL5 0NG:
29 November
06 December
13 December
View the items available on the opening day of this initiative here and please spread the word.
