THIS WEEK
HIGHLIGHTS
This week we have interviewed eighteen Year 12 students who applied to be part of the Head Student Team in school. The process has involved a letter of application to determine selection for interview, a presentation and a formal interview. Everyone has been extremely impressive. It has been humbling to hear about the activities they are involved in outside and inside the school. The successful students will be informed early next week.
I am pleased to announce that the school Mufti Day on Monday raised £1591 for the DEC Ukraine appeal to help support displaced people as a result of the war. A particular thank you also goes to Miss Wottens' Year 7 tutor group, who held a bake sale and raised £250.
THANK YOU AND AN APOLOGY
We appreciate that the inconvenience of having students at home on short notice, is often difficult for families, so thank you for your understanding. Also, we would like to apologise for the late notice that some of the messages came through to some families. This was due to our existing Management Information System not dealing with the requests for outgoing messages to be sent, in a timely manner. This added to the disruption for some, for which we are sorry.
COVID GUIDANCE
Changes to the need to self-isolate have been published by the government. From today the following applies:
