NEWSLETTER - 10 JANUARY 2025
Happy New Year to you all. I hope that 2025 is a positive one for you all.
The return to school has seen us get straight back ‘on it’ in terms of events. Thank you to the staff who took trips to the theatre this week, also rehearsal for the school production is in full swing again as we build towards the performances in February - don’t forget to book your tickets HERE. I would like to wish the Year 13 students all the very best for their pre-public exams coming up in the next two weeks. Like the Year 11 students, they are in their final run-in for their exams this summer. The build-up to exams naturally creates anxiety - this is to be expected but all students can maintain a good balance between study and activities to help them relax in whatever way that may be.
Take a look through our social media using the buttons above.

BEING ME PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
A brand new photography competition has launched today for the spring term and is open to all year groups. The central idea behind the competition is to give students a voice to speak about their life experiences, reflecting who they are and what they do. The photograph submitted should reflect the student's interests and hobbies, what they like doing in their spare time, how they see themselves. It should be a self portrait. A mobile phone or digital camera can be used to take the photo.

We also hope that all our prize winners from the Christmas Draw enjoyed their experiences.
Both these festive initiatives were hugely successful thanks to the kindness of our school community.

EVERY DAY STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BRING...
HOPE CHURCH FOOD SHARE
The Hope Church food share takes place each Tuesday from 12pm-1pm.
The items include mainly fresh food and bakery items donated from local supermarkets. The food is at the end of its shelf life (but still perfectly fine to eat!) and would otherwise just go to waste. Bring a bag to fill up, stop for a chat and a cup of tea (and cake!!) and warm up in the church. ALL welcome, no voucher/referral required.
Hope Church, Sunningdale, The Hope Centre, High Street Sunningdale, (next to Nag’s Head).
