County Lines Theatre Production
This week students in Years 8, 9 and 10 have been watching a play about the County Lines method of trafficking drugs and weapons.
Performed by the not-for-profit theatre company Alter Ego, students were shown the steps that gangs across the country take to exploit vulnerable people.
Ms Parris, who is Head of PSHEC and Citizenship said, "Children as young as primary age are being forced to carry and sell drugs far away from their homes. They are made to skip school, sleep in drug dens and keep secrets from their loved ones. Children are manipulated into this exploitation and awareness is key in stopping this type of abuse. Charters School hosted production company Alter Ego to inform our students of these dangers.”
