Year 12 Student Freddie Celebrates Book Launch

This week, students and staff gathered to celebrate an exciting milestone for Year 12 student Freddie, who has written and self-published his first book. Joining Freddie for a book launch in the school's library, the audience was treated to a reading of the prologue by the budding author and he also explained about his writing process.
Freddie’s novel, The Crowning Glory, is a gripping tale of power, destiny, and legacy. The story follows Nicholas Roma, a young man burdened by a secret that could alter the balance of power forever. With fate leading him to uncover the truth hidden by his ancestors, Nicholas must decide whether to reclaim the nation stolen from his family or risk fading into obscurity. The novel explores themes of ambition, fate, and the pursuit of one’s destiny.
The book, which took six months to complete, was inspired by a piece of homework Freddie undertook as part of his A Level English course. His dedication and passion for storytelling have culminated in a remarkable achievement, and his work has already captivated readers.
We congratulate Freddie on this incredible accomplishment and wish him every success with The Crowning Glory. We also look forward to hearing more about the sequel in the near future!
