Biodiversity in Action

This week, a group of Year 9 students had the opportunity to visit the Heatherwood Royal housing estate to witness how biodiversity is integrated into the planning and construction of a new development. These students were part of the winning team from last summer’s Year 8 Biodiversity Curriculum Enrichment Day, an initiative sponsored by Taylor Wimpey. As a reward, the company invited them to tour the site and explore its biodiversity-focused features.
