Strategies for Success Day 2025

The challenges of GCSE revision can be overwhelming, but this year’s Strategies for Success Day has provided a much-needed boost for our Year 11 students. The initiative, which has proven hugely popular over the past few years, focuses on equipping students with essential revision skills and strategies to help them take control of their learning.

Every student in Year 11 participated in this valuable workshop, which covered a range of effective study techniques designed to enhance retention, focus, and confidence. The programme included guidance on memory techniques, time management, and structured revision planning - tools that will not only benefit students in their upcoming exams but also in future academic and professional pursuits.

We are incredibly grateful to The Sunninghill Trust, a local charity that has once again fully funded this initiative. Their continued support has allowed our students to access high-quality, expert-led sessions without any financial burden. By investing in our students' education, The Sunninghill Trust is playing a vital role in helping them reach their full potential.

Students left the sessions feeling more prepared and motivated, with many commenting on how the strategies have transformed their approach to revision. As the GCSE exams get nearer, we are confident that this initiative will have a lasting impact, empowering our students to tackle their studies with greater confidence.
