Fantastic Five!

We are delighted to share the wonderful news that five of our Sixth Form students have been offered places to study at Oxbridge this autumn.
The students have demonstrated exceptional dedication and academic excellence, earning places in some of the world’s most renowned institutions.
Cambridge Offers:
Catriona will study History and Russian at Magdalene College - founded in 1428, it is one of the university’s smaller but historically rich colleges, known for its impressive library and picturesque riverside location.
Nora will study English at St Catharine’s College - established in 1473, it is renowned for its vibrant academic community and strong literary tradition.
Oxford Offers:
Daniel will study Physics at Brasenose College - founded in 1509, it is famous for its friendly atmosphere and stunning Radcliffe Square location.
Sophia will study Music at St Hilda’s College - established in 1893, it was originally a women’s college and is now celebrated for its inclusive and progressive ethos.
Hannah will study Biochemistry at Merton College - one of Oxford’s oldest colleges, it was founded in 1264 and is known for its rigorous academics and beautiful medieval architecture.
Hannah said, "I was hesitant to apply for Biochemistry at Oxford until my biology teacher encouraged me, and now I'm so excited for the opportunity to learn from researchers at the forefront of the field."
We are immensely proud that 71% of Charters students who applied to Oxbridge this year were invited for interviews – a testament to their tenacity, hard work, and intellectual brilliance.
This incredible success reflects not only the dedication of our students but also the unwavering support from our teachers and staff who have guided them throughout the application process.
We wish our students the very best as they prepare for their A-level exams and congratulate them all on their offers.
