Autumn Chamber Concert
On Wednesday evening this week, a variety of students were involved in the brilliant Autumn Chamber Concert.
With a diversified program of music and much talent of the highest quality on show, it was a lovely event. There were performances from students in Year 7 all the way up to those in Year 12, playing a wide range of instruments from saxophone, to trombone, to piano, or displaying fantastic vocals.
Some of the performers were making their first appearance having only been learning their instruments for a few months, others were much more experienced musicians and were using the concert as an opportunity to practice their exam pieces.
Year 10 student Teddy said: "I really enjoyed the concert, it gave me confidence for my upcoming exam. I also improved my resilience by carrying on despite mistakes.”
Maddie added ‘I loved performing and watching many other year groups come together to share their own passion of music!’
Well done to all the students who took part. For those embarking on their first musical experience, we hope to hear more from them in the years to come and to those about to sit their music exams, we wish them all the best.
