Show Racism The Red Card
Today the school celebrated Wear Red Day 2024 with a non-uniform day where our school community dressed in red to show their support against racism.
This is the 10th anniversary Wear Red Day and is run by the charity Show Racism The Red Card. This anti-racism educational organisation was founded following the racist abuse suffered by then Newcastle United goalkeeper Shaka Hislop. The organisation uses high-profile football players and celebrities to share their stories and encourage young people to show racism the red card.
Students and staff wore a variety of red attire, and made donations to the charity, to highlight that racism will not be tolerated. The school was a sea of red, with some truly magnificent outfits.

Thank you to everyone who showed their support today.
