Freshers Fair has new Year 7s signing up for exciting Autumn Term ECAs
On their first day at Charters, our new Year 7 students enjoyed a fabulous Freshers Fair to encourage them to participate in a wide range of activities, broaden their knowledge, enhance their skills and make a wider circle of friends. Most importantly joining a new club is fun!
There were many extra-curricular activities our students could choose from including Girls' Robotics, Speed Chess Club, Junior Vocal Group and Time Travellers Club to name but a few. In addition, the array of sporting activities which are available throughout the year means that there is always something on to keep you occupied. Cathy opted to have a look at the Girls Football club but wanted to check out all the activities on offer before deciding on her final sign up!
Emily and Amelia were having a great start to their Charters journey at the Fair. Having spent the morning getting to know everyone in their new tutor group by taking part in a treasure hunt around the school, they then signed up for some of the after school clubs together. Athletics and the Library activities were amongst their choices. were having a great start to their Charters journey at the Fair.
