Savills Supports Charters
Are you thinking of selling or letting your home?
As part of its commitment to the local community, Savills has generously offered to support us with donations, fundraising, and volunteering by local staff.
Lauren Fell, Head of Savills Sunningdale Lettings, said:“Our partnership with Charters School is very important to us for many reasons. The school is an integral part of the local community with values aligning our own, and being able to help both financially and through volunteering is exciting. Our initial partnership discussion with Charters School came about when we learnt that a number of Charters staff were taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge to support the school's Unity Fund. We were of course keen to add our support. Savills sponsored the challenge and also volunteered at the Summer Fayre by running the 'Guess the Number of Balloons in the Minibus' activity. Our staff will also be helping to paint the outside ping-pong tables later in the year which students in all year groups use during their breaks."
The families of those working for Savills have attended Charters over the years, and their Regional Lettings Director, Laura Lane is one of our alumna. Having worked with many families whose children are current or previous students, the company has created a new initiative to support our school. They will make a donation to Charters each time a parent/carer, Trustee or member of staff sells or lets their property through Savills Sunningdale; £1,000 for every sale and £500 for each letting.
This new initiative is a fantastic way to raise funds for our school and we hope that many families will consider Savills if they are looking for a local estate agent.
