Art Trip to Tate Modern

On the 9th of July students from Years 7 & 8 went on a reward trip to the Tate Modern art gallery in London; and WOW it was cool! 

We travelled by bus and got booklets to complete whilst going around the galleries. We looked at some very different paintings and it was incredible to see all the sculptures and pictures first-hand. We visited 2 of the 10 floors and sketched some of the art; it was really fun, and we were allowed to take pictures of the art on our phones too.

Altogether it was an amazing experience to see all the incredible art works in real life instead of having to judge it off Google! I would highly recommend going; especially to see the Andy Warhol artwork; maybe pop it on your summer bucket list and also it was free entry!
