Art Meets Science
These Year 10 Triple Biology students were using their cerebral cortexes this week - particular their right-hemispheres to get creative and make their own model of the human brain.
Some were more Picasso than others, but they all said how fun it was to show the different brain areas using their own materials from home.
Sweets were a common theme, though judging by the rapid disappearances of this particular artistic medium, these students demonstrated a weakness in their prefrontal cortexes (impulse control)!
This is just one of the ways that our innovative Science faculty bring the syllabus alive for their students.
