Generation Juice Come to Charters
The school's Eco Society has been working with our school catering team at Cucina to help reduce packaging and do our bit to Save The Planet.
After Easter, students will be encouraged to bring a reusable bottle so that they can get a delicious drink from the new Generation Juice stations in our Dining Hall which will dispense a variety of flavoured waters and juices. Students will need to purchase tokens from the tills to activate the juice hubs, which are great value for money and can be included in meal deals. Prices are 60p for one 250ml token or 80p for two 250ml tokens. This is up to 35p cheaper than the current offering for a 500ml drink.
Students were able to try out the drinks stations for themselves today and the initial feedback has been very positive.
Charters School & Cucina are extremely proud to be teaming up with Generation Juice and are encouraging the school community to work together to support this initiative.
It is estimated, we will save around 50,000 plastic drinks bottles from landfill each year, reducing Cucina deliveries and impact on the environment, so please remember those reusable bottles when we return from the Easter break.
