Osborne Heath Sponsor Football KIt

We are incredibly pleased to announce that our Girls Football team has taken delivery of a gorgeous new kit this week, thanks to the support of local estate agents, Osborne Heath.

The school's relationship with this company has developed over the past few years, and the link between the two organisations is Osborne Heath's director, James Niknejad, who was once a student at our school.

We caught up with James this week to learn more about his motivation for supporting our school.

'Since opening Osborne Heath we’ve been passionate about sponsoring sport at Charters and local primary schools.  As an ex-student, sport and football was a big part of my school life, but the school was never in a position to buy new kits, instead relying on hand-downs from parents. 

In 2023 Osborne Heath funded an all-girls football tournament for the local primary schools.  The tournament was played in great spirits, and many of the girls participating borrowed boots from family members as they hadn’t played football before.  The tournament resulted in a number of players taking up the sport.  Many of the players will be joining Charters in the next few years.  We want to continue to encourage girls to take up, and participate, in football.  Our hope is that the new kit will encourage new girls to start the sport, and also support the existing players in their football journey.
