On Tuesday 5 December, 47 Sixth Form students took part in a festive trip to London. The students and staff enjoyed soaking up the sights and sounds of the South Bank before taking a flight on the London Eye.

This is a wonderful example of the opportunities available to students in Years 12 and 13 at our Sixth Form.

Amidst London's Christmas splendour, I embarked on a magical visit to the famed London Eye. The giant wheel, adorned in festive hues, beckoned against the night sky. Joining the lively queue, I stepped into a capsule transformed into a Christmas haven.

As we ascended, the city unfolded below, a dazzling panorama of twinkling lights and iconic landmarks dressed in holiday brilliance. At its peak, the London Eye bestowed a breathtaking pause, a moment to savour the enchanting views beneath a starlit sky.

Descending, the city lights continued their festive dance, casting reflections on the serene Thames. Stepping out into the crisp night air, I left with a heart full of warmth and wonder — a brief but magical Christmas journey high above the glittering city.
