Yr 13 Economists Attend Conference

Year 13 students studying Economics recently took part in the Strong Foundation conference which was held at the Vue cinema at Westfield in London.

The conference focused on the four key areas of:

1. Knowledge, Understanding and Application
2. Analysis
3. Evaluation and Key Quantitative Skills, Numerical Concepts
4. Core Knowledge

The intensive one-day workshop was an excellent opportunity for the students to hone their examination skills ahead of their A Levels next summer.

Andrii said, "The trip was a valuable experience where we reinforced our exam techniques and applied them in new perspectives. A highlight of the talks was getting to put forward and evaluate your ideas in response to a particular scenario, e.g. a microeconomic policy in response to market failure in the budget airline industry."
