Chesney Sings for Charity

Former students and brothers, Chesney Hawkes, singer/songwriter, and Jodie Hawkes, professional drummer, took time out from touring to support a local charity event for Woking and Sam Beare Hospice, something they get involved in each year.

Tracey Hembrow, a technician at Charters won the chance to perform a duet with Chesney when her husband bid at a charity auction. With Jodie on drums, Chesney and Tracey performed in front of a packed audience last Saturday night, singing the hit, ‘Don’t let the sun go down on me’. The event was a huge success, raising £3000 for the charity.
