Grace Raises Money for Local Baby Bank

Innovative Year 7 student Grace decided she wanted to do some fundraising for a local charity, The Baby Bank, who provides essential infant supplies to those families most in need. 

Grace and her mum read an article about how some parents don’t have enough money for baby products so they decided to help.  Grace collected pine cones dried them out and turned them into bespoke decorations.  Along with some bags, Grace sold her decorations locally with a bit of help from friends and family. 

Grace felt happy and proud to make a difference and the money that she raised has brought over £150 of goods for The Baby Bank charity.  Grace demonstrated our school character pillar of compassion and we wish her well in any future fundraising endeavours.
