Sports Presentation

The annual Sports Presentation evening was a great success and it was the culmination of our students' hard work and dedication to sport this past year. The evening showcased some of the fantastic talent and ability within our school and was sponsored this year by Berks County Football Club. 

The awards were as follows:

THE ASCOT FIRE BRIGADE TRUST AWARD

This is a bursary of £1000 which is awarded to 3 students to help them excel and reach the next level in their chosen sports. The winners of this were:

Jasmine (Yer 10) - To help her with her sailing

Gethin (Year 11) - To help him with his rugby

Hayam (Year 13) - To help him with his swimming

TEAM OF THE YEAR

KS3 - Year 7 and Year 8 Girls Cricket Teams. Reaching the Regional Finals in both the indoor and outdoor events

KS4 - Year 10 Boys Football Team. Reaching the 1/4 Final of the National Cup. This is only the second time in the school's history that one of our teams has reached this far in the competition.

SPORTS PERSONALITIES OF THE YEAR

The Sports Personalities Of The Year award is nominated and voted for by the PE department, and is awarded to the student who they believe has been not only a great sports person this year, but has a wholesome character and is great team player, who has shown more than just ability and pushed themselves and everyone around them.
