Wheeler Programme Update
Our two Year 9 students, Charlie and Finlay, who gained a spot on the Wheeler Programme at Wellington College earlier this year, recently had their residential stay at the prestigious college. The Year 9 students were initially put forward by their teachers and chosen from 70 applicants to attend the programme (the original story can be found here).
After a couple of team building induction days in May, the boys again spent two days at the college to gain the full mentoring experience. The students stayed in Wellington College dorms and took part in a range of lessons, challenges and activities. There were masterclasses in many familiar subjects but also subjects that they may have not studied before. It is all about stimulating academic academic curiosity.

Charlie said: '' Last week I went to Wellington College with the Wheeler programme. There we went to Sky Studios and did lots of other things. It was very fun and interesting, and I enjoyed it a lot!"
Finlay agreed: "When I went to Wellington College for the Wheeler Programme, it was really fun as I got to have the experience of a Wellington student"
It looks like they had a great time during their four day residential and we will keep you updated on their journey through the Wheeler Programme.
