Chamber Concert

Following on from the Music department's trip to see the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra play at at Cadogan Hall, the students then had their own concert this week in the form of he Summer Chamber Concert.

There was a wide variety of performers who took part, from experienced  Year 12 A Level students practising for their coursework recitals to first time performances from Year 7 students who were making their debut on the concert scene.

The ability of all the students was excellent and the audience enjoyed the pieces immensely. There were performances on the saxophone, clarinet, guitar, flute, piano, cello plus some beautiful singing, and the broad repertoire ranged from Mozart to Dire Straits!
