Essential Food Parcels for Easter

Led by Alanna and Lauren from our Senior Student team, volunteers from Year 7 and Sixth Form spent Second Break yesterday packaging essential items into parcels.

The initiative which began last term provides much needed staples for the most vulnerable families within our school.  The goods are sourced via a wholesaler with ties to a staff member, collected by minibus and then packaged by our team of student volunteers during their break time ready for collection. 

We would like to thank everyone who played a part in helping us to support those in need such as Waitrose in Sunningdale who kindly donated bags for life to help the project.

The Charters Essential Parcels initiative is a real example of our school community displaying our values of Unity Respect Excellence.
