Careers Fair 2023
Our external careers advisers are employed by Learning to Work, who provide our students with independent and impartial careers information, advice and guidance.
In conjunction with Learning to Work, students from Year 8 through to Year 13 were able to visit our annual Careers Fair in the Main Hall and have interesting conversations with exhibitors about possible future pathways.
As well as manning stalls which housed a wealth of information regarding their organisations, some exhibitors went one step further... The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service brought one of their fire engines to school and explained to students what a typical day as a firefighter looks like.
Alfie said, "It's been great to be able to speak to people about jobs and careers that you know nothing about," while Maisie said, "It's a really great opportunity to speak with those who already have experience in the industry I'm interested in."
The Careers Fair is just one example of our commitment to provide excellent career guidance and insights for all students throughout the academic year.
