Matilda Trip (Drama)

 My Matilda Trip Report by Charlotte 7G

I loved going to see Matilda. On the coach there, I sat next to my friends Tilly and Mia. We talked all the way there. As we arrived in London, we saw that all of the shops were covered in lights and lit up signs. We even saw Harrods, the London Eye and huge buildings that towered over us.

My favourite part in the show was when Bruce, one of Matilda's classmates, stands up on a table in a purple spotlight and sings a verse in the song, which was very funny and made me and Tilly laugh. I also liked the part when Matilda's brother repeated words that his father said in a loud voice and then fell back asleep; it made the whole audience laugh. My favourite character in the show was Miss Honey because she was the only one who was kind to Matilda. She is also very passionate about her job and stood up to Mrs Trunchbull. My favourite song was 'Naughty'. This is because the song was very upbeat and fun and made me want to sing along.

Finally, Drama is the BEST subject!!! Drama is so fun because we play games linked to the work and you get to really learn about your class. This is also because you get to speak your thoughts and emotions through a script, and you get to truly show Unity, Respect and Excellence with your classmates and friends.
