Charters Students at Laver Cup
After a vigorous selection process three Charters students were selected as ball kids at the recent Laver Cup.
The Laver Cup is a prestigious indoor men's tennis tournament between Europe and the rest of the World, which is often referred to as the tennis equivalent of the Ryder Cup. The event took place at London's O2 and became a topic of conversation for many tennis fans as it was also Roger Federer's last professional appearance before his retirement from the game.
Oliver said, "It was an amazing experience and I will remember it for the rest of my life - it was unforgettable. It was so good meeting all the players and getting pictures and autographs with them. Being on court with them was also amazing and I was lucky enough to be on court at the end of Federer's match and the atmosphere was amazing when it finished."
