HIGHLIGHTS
This week, we held a small celebration and presented the Year 11 students from 2021 who are now in the Sixth Form, with their GCSE and BTEC certificates. Although we could not have our normal Celebration Assembly, we allowed them to reflect on their remarkable achievement in dealing with the disruption of Covid on their education. Their former Head of Year, Miss Goody, reminded them of the very moving Leavers Assembly and some of the wishes they had put on the Wish Tree at the end of the assembly in May.
We have also been holding some Students Voice interviews this week about aspects of school that students enjoy or feel we need to focus on. This has provided some excellent information to help us continue to develop the school and also celebrate the hard work of staff. Some of the comments, which focused on how certain staff had inspired our students, were lovely to hear.
I had the pleasure of working with some senior members of staff from across the South East who visited the school this week to help with our self-evaluation. All four of them were highly complementary of the school environment and the students. One, from Somerset said, ‘Your school environment is tremendous; the students are fortunate to be able to come to school in such a calm and welcoming place. The facilities you have are fantastic. All the students I have seen around the school in classes and outside have been very polite.’

ADVENTURES IN PANTOLAND
The Quince Players are very excited to be back at the Cordes Hall, Sunninghill in January, with our pantomime, Adventure in Pantoland. Shows will be held on 13 - 16 and 20 - 22 of January . Please click here for full details of dates and times.
'Adventure in Pantoland' is a traditional pantomime with a twist. It takes us on an enchanting, light-hearted journey through some of the best-loved pantomime stories as our favourite characters try to outwit the wicked witch and her hapless side-kick , in their search for a happy ending. With all the usual pantomime tomfoolery and plenty of singing and dancing, you can expect to see a dame, a fool, a hero and princess or two, and of course a good fairy to help everyone along the way!
We would be delighted to see lots of friendly faces in the audience, so please book your tickets and you can look forward to a fun, local show to blow away those January blues! You can easily book online via ticketsource.co.uk/quinceplayers or ticket forms can be collected and dropped at Inspirations on Sunninghill High Street.
