Year 13 Destinations
Charters Sixth Form firmly believes that if a student has a destination in mind post-18, we can help them get there. Whether it's an apprenticeship, a higher education course or a particular university, we can help our students develop the skills to write their own future.
Students who completed their A Levels this summer are now studying at a variety of leading universities throughout the UK and abroad, and our destinations map shows some of these locations:
We recognise that being able to study independently is a valuable skill, which is why we have partnered with Up Learn so that every Sixth Form student has access to the tools which can help them consolidate their learning effectively at home.
Up Learn's interactive, personalised learning is tailored to help students reflect on their studies and work on specific areas of improvement. Our Sixth Form team is keen to nurture the students in Years 12 and 13, but is mindful to balance this support with an element of Resilience, Motivation and Curiosity; all characters which have been identified by the school as pillars in our ongoing Character Education programme.
The Sixth Form Open Evening for entry in September 2025 is taking place on Thursday 17 October between 5pm and 8pm, and we are looking foward to showing Year 11 students, and their parents/carers, what makes this exciting part of our school so special.
Visitors will be able to talk to subject specific staff about the curriculum and entry requirements, and ask current students who have chosen to study at Charters Sixth Form about their experience.
Join us on Thursday 17 October from 5.00pm to 8.00pm and begin to write your own future at Charters Sixth Form.
