Celebration of Achievement
On Thursday 26 September we celebrated the achievements of students who did not sit external examinations during the last academic year. Students from Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 were recognised for their Attitude to Learning and the Excellence of their work at our annual Celebration of Achievement evening. Special awards are also presented to those who exemplify our values of Unity, Respect and Excellence.
We were joined this year by alumnus, and Olympic bronze medallist, Hattie Taylor as guest speaker for the night. Hattie spoke about her happy memories of completing her A Levels in our Sixth Form, and shared the lessons she has learnt on her journey to the Olympic podium.
The evening, which is always exceptionally well supported by parents, is one of our most prestigious events and is a wonderful opportunity for all those connected with Charters School to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our students.
